Start in your neighborhood. Build toward a better future together.

Prosper Movement is the grassroots member organization intended to work directly with Prosper Foundation in local communities, while giving members practical ways to organize, collaborate, and gain access to aligned ProsperApps tools at strongly reduced cost.

What this is

A movement built for real people doing real work together.

Prosper Movement is for people who want to do more than agree with big ideas. It is meant to be a real member organization where neighbors, local leaders, builders, and organizers can take part in solving meaningful challenges together.

The primary arena is local community life, then regional and national coordination. Most global collaboration initiatives will usually belong with Prosper Foundation stewardship, but member-initiated global initiatives can also be carried into that foundation context when they genuinely fit.

ProsperApps is building tools that can serve this work. Prosper Movement members should be able to access many of those tools at major discounts, at cost, or free where that makes sense, so membership creates practical capacity, not just symbolic belonging.

Three connected parts

Foundation, movement, and tools should reinforce each other without collapsing into one thing.

Prosper Foundation provides stewardship. Prosper Movement provides the grassroots member structure. ProsperApps provides aligned tools that can become real movement capacity rather than unrelated software.

Prosper Foundation

Mission stewardship and broader public-benefit direction

The foundation carries the declaration, the long-horizon mission, and the wider stewardship logic behind the ecosystem.

Prosper Movement

A member organization built for practical local action

The movement is where people organize as members, form local and regional structures, and work together on concrete challenges in real communities.

ProsperApps

Aligned tools that can reduce friction for members and chapters

ProsperApps develops the software lines that can later support movement work, with member-benefit pricing intended to make those tools materially useful.

Movement architecture

Local first, but not local only.

The movement should grow from real communities upward. Regional and national layers should support that work, while foundation-linked global initiatives stay available when the scale genuinely requires it.

Local

Local chapters and community circles

The primary unit is local: neighbors, practitioners, and volunteers solving problems together where they actually live.

Regional

Regional coordination and mutual support

Regional layers can connect nearby chapters, share practical know-how, and help good local models spread without flattening local autonomy.

National

National organization and shared campaigns

National coordination can hold common policy, shared learning, member services, and larger campaign or movement infrastructure.

Global

Foundation-linked international initiatives when appropriate

Most global work will likely live under Prosper Foundation stewardship, but member-initiated global efforts can also be carried there when they genuinely belong.

Member benefits

Membership should create practical leverage, not just identity.

A major differentiator is that movement membership can eventually unlock real software benefits from ProsperApps, alongside shared templates, infrastructure, and chapter support.

Feature

Strong member pricing on aligned software

Movement members should receive significant discounts, at-cost access, or free access to selected ProsperApps solutions where that strengthens community work.

Feature

Shared operating templates for local groups

Chapters and circles should be able to reuse proven playbooks for organizing, communication, events, participation, and practical coordination.

Feature

Early access to movement-serving pilots

Members and chapters can become natural pilot environments for tools that actually help local organizing, creativity, administration, and mutual support.

Feature

A path toward real chapter infrastructure

The ProsperOrg platform can eventually power membership, chapters, roles, dues, events, and local governance rather than leaving every group to improvise.

What members can work on together

Shared challenges, practical collaboration, and better futures for people and planet.

The movement should stay challenge-led and community-led. The purpose is not passive affiliation, but coordinated contribution.

Local resilience

Strengthen the social and practical fabric close to home

Build stronger neighborhoods, circles of trust, and real community capacity instead of leaving resilience to distant institutions alone.

Economic self-reliance

Support people in building more durable livelihoods

Help people create more freedom, more skills, and more mutual support around work, enterprise, and practical contribution.

People and planet

Work on challenges that matter materially and morally

Take on issues where local action and coordinated collaboration can improve conditions for people, communities, and the wider living world.

Cross-boundary cooperation

Share what works beyond one place

The movement should help strong local ideas travel across regions and nations without losing their human scale or practical grounding.

Prosper Movement is intended to become a real grassroots member organization with practical organizing support, not just another cause-branded website.
